This place is an absolute gem. The description in the book doesn't do it justice.

A beautiful, historic place, full of fascinating things to explore surrounded by glorious gardens and woodland. We visited on a stormy February day and it was still worth the trip 👍

Interesting place to visit, but it really needs a proper cafe and shop selling National Trust items.

A lovely walk from Wotton, and an essential Cotswold Way stopover. The team here make lovely coffees and pastries (try a spiced cauli pasty!), always have a treat ready for our dog, and the views towards Bristol and Bath are dreamy. You can explore the woodlands towards Ozleworth, there's great play areas for kids, beautiful Tudor history and gardens, and two peacocks! What's not to love?

A lovely peaceful place to visit and have a walk. The house was not open when we visited, but the grounds were. I would recommend old shoes or walking boots in damp weather, as the paths get very muddy! Toilets provided upon entrance at the carpark.

Great for winter walk in crisp cold weather. Ignore the path closure due to fallen tree signs. Its been sorted.

House closed for winter, cafe seating in marquee, could do more on accessibility
